More About Me

A bit about how I arrived on Whidbey Island...

In January of 1997 the US Navy transferred my husband and me to NAS Whidbey Island. How adventurous to live on an island I thought! After a couple months of selective job hunting I was hired as the Office Administrator for the Windermere Freeland office. It was a good fit and my years of experience as an executive-level administrative assistant were put to excellent use in yet another new field. I obtained my Real Estate License in 2007 and my Managing Broker’s license in 2014 whereby I was appointed the Office Manager and Branch Manager for our Freeland and Langley offices.

It’s not just a job...

I am fortunate to work closely with a skilled, loyal and dedicated staff, our Owner, Joseph Mosolino, and highly accomplished brokers who work tirelessly for their clients. I do not actively list or sell; therefore, I am able to dedicate my time to training and supporting our brokers and offices. I ensure our brokers are well-educated, supported in all aspects of their business, and have access to the tools and resources they need to be successful at serving their clients’ needs.

I love the people, I love what I do. Coming to the office in the morning is a joy, not a job.

And then for fun...

Outside of the office my husband and I love to be outdoors gardening, hiking and exploring the island and the great PacNW. We have a lovely vegetable garden complete with a hoop house and outside raised beds. I have a robust herb cart outside my kitchen that we built to add fresh flavors to our meals. We are avid grillers with a Big Green Egg, a traditional charcoal Weber kettle and a 36” Blackstone griddle.

In the spring of 2019 I was drawn to run for public office and in November was elected as a commissioner for our South Whidbey Parks and Recreation District. I am enjoying learning more about this incredible place we call home while I work with the other commissioners and park district staff on ensuring we provide excellent facilities, parks and trail systems, and programs for all ages and abilities.
